On Thursday, September 28 students will be taking part in the annual Terry Fox School Run. Our school is proud to play an important role in supporting cancer research.  Through our participation in the Terry Fox School Run, we hope to encourage leadership in our students and create positive agents of change in our wonderful school community.

 

We will be collecting Toonies for Terry from students who wish to make a donation to the Terry Fox Foundation during the week of September 25 to September 28.  Donations may also be made online at:  https://schools.terryfox.ca/29651

to our school’s fundraising page (Note:  There is more than one Woodlands Schools participating in the Terry Fox run.  Please ensure you select the correct school). It’s fast, easy and donors get a receipt immediately by email.  

 

The whole school will once again be running together outside around the baseball diamonds (North field), at the end of the school day. If you would like to volunteer you are welcome to contact the main office at Woodlands@cbe.ab.ca or call 403-777-8640.  All volunteers must have a valid CPS security clearance.
