We are pleased to invite students and their families to the school to participate in the Woodlands School Giving Fair. This event offers families a number of activities to celebrate the season and support our community.

The Giving Fair is on Thursday, December 14 from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM.

Upon arrival, families will receive a passport that will outline the activities and their locations. Families visit each station in the order they wish.

Stations include:
• A warm welcome and your visitor's passport
• Musical performances from Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2
• An interactive music activity – use instruments to play seasonal tunes
• A photo booth where you can use some whimsical and seasonal items to take a great family photo on your own device
• A beverage and a treat
• Amazing art projects from students in all grades
• Create a winter wonderland using loose parts
• Bring a non-perishable food donation for the Calgary Food Bank (holiday wish list: cereal, canned meat, canned fruit or veggies, canned beans, baby formula, pasta sauce – no glass jars)
• Create a Cheer Card for a Meals on Wheels client
• Create Bunny Bag for the Calgary Humane Society
• Help in the creation of a fleece blanket for the Children’s Cottage Society – these will be given to babies and their families
• Search for each of our beautiful mosaics with seasonal decorations showcased around the school

We are looking for donations of the following items:
• Bunny Bags - Brown paper lunch bags – standard size, forage blend for small animals, jute twine, non-toxic markers
• Face cloths - any color
• Packages of Disposable Diapers – any size up to age 2
• Non-perishable food items for the Calgary food bank will be collected anytime between December 11-15
