The Calgary Board of Education provides students with the option to stay at school for lunch. Noon Supervision is offered to all students in Grades 1- 6 at Woodloands School for an annual fee of $305.00 for 2023-24.  Please register on-line using your My CBE account.  Fees for this service will be added to your MyCBE account after October 16, 2023.

What you can expect the following for your noon supervision fees:
 A safe and caring environment for students to eat lunch.
 Supervision for the entire noon lunch period, unless the student is signed out by a parent/guardian.
 Daily attendance will be taken.
 Students must remain on school grounds, unless written permission has been provided to the school by a parent/guardian.
 A dedicated space for eating.
 Only students that have registered for lunch supervision have access to this service.
 The CBE has a waiver process for families who can’t afford to pay the fees.
 Note | Use of service indicates that the Parent/Guardian accepts the terms and the responsibility to pay the annual fee.
 Income tax receipts are issued for noon supervision fees that may be included as child care expenses for income tax purposes.
 Noon supervision fees are directed to providing lunchroom supervisors

Note:  Students are requied to bring their own lunch and snacks.  Hot water, microwaves and other cooking facilities are not available to students.

What if my family cannot afford to pay the noon supervision fees?
The CBE has a waiver process for families who can’t afford to pay the fees. Visit https://www.cbe.ab.ca/registra... for more information about the application process. If you do not meet the criteria, you may declare a financial hardship to your school principal. Your principal will work with you to either come up with a manageable payment schedule, or recommend the CBE waive part or all of your fees.
