Sound Kreations Dance Residency
Thanks to our Woodlands School Council, we are thrilled to be offering, free of charge, the Sound Kreations dance residency, from Monday – Friday March 31 – April 4. We encourage all students to dress for movement on those days, in particular.
There will be a performance for any available parents during the day on Friday, April 4. The dance showcase will begin at 11:10 AM (doors will open for families at 10:55 AM).
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Thanks to all families who booked a time to connect with your child’s teacher during Parent-Teacher Conferences on March 20-21. If you experienced any technical difficulties or were unable to login using the link that was sent to you for the online conference, please reach out to your child’s teacher.
Survey of Woodlands School Community Regarding Before and After School Child Care
We would like to invite families to help us understand the need for possible before and after child care offered by a vendor, located at Woodlands School. The survey is now open and will close on Friday, April 4. Click here for survey
Parking Lot | Safety Issue
Please DO NOT drop-off or pick-up students in the staff parking lot. Pulling up to the main doors and then backing out of the lot is dangerous for both you and our students. Please give yourself adequate time for proper pick-up and drop-off along Woodgreen Drive or the public parking lot across the street, even if you are late. Students are reminded to walk around the parking lot area – not through it!
Arrive on Time
Many students are arriving late to school. This causes congestion at the main doors while students are accounted for. Please plan for an on-time arrival, allowing your child to enter through their designated doors and to be accounted for in the attendance of their classroom teacher. This helps us improve the security of the entire building and the safety of all, while maximizing instructional time for students. Thanks for your attention to this.
