On Wednesday, September 27, all members of Woodlands School community are encouraged to wear an Orange shirt. The intention of this day is to recognize and honour residential school survivors, their families and communities. Students will learn about the history and legacy of residential school by reflecting on important conversations and through Indigenous stories at age appropriate levels.
