Healthy Hunger

This year, Woodlands School Council will organize ‘fun lunches” through the Healthy Hunger application.  Please visit www.healthyHunger.ca and click Register Your Student.  After your account is created, you will be able to view all up-coming Fun Lunches, place orders and then pay for your orders by credit card. (More information on creating an account: Woodlands Healthy Hunger)

The following lunches are planned so far:

  • October 16- iHop (this date will be postponed and the tentative alternate date is October 30).
  • November 20 – Boston Pizza
  • December 18 – Waffles & Chix

If your student is absent on the day of the Fun Lunch, we will hold the lunch for you to pick up if you contact the school before lunch on that day otherwise the lunch will be donated or discarded.

Woodlands School Council Halloween Dance

October 23 6 PM – 8 PM

Adults are free, children are $5.00 each.

Advance tickets only, no tickets sold at the door.

Every child must be accompanied by a trusted adult guardian for the duration of the event.

Each student received a paper flyer with a detachable portion for ticket purchase.  Please return this with exact cash funds to the school by Friday, October 3.

In the event that there is still labour action with Alberta teachers on October 23, this event will still proceed as it is a Woodlands School Council hosted event, rather than a school sponsored event.
