There will be a Welcome Evening for our new Kindergarten families on Thursday, June 6, 2024. Please join us in the Learning Commons at 6:30 p.m. for this welcome evening. Families will learn about the Kindergarten Program at Woodlands School and how this important academic year prepares students for grade one by developing their social skills, self-discipline, confidence, curiosity, coordination, initiative and independence. We look forward to meeting all our new families.

Families can watch a short video which showcases the quality Kindergarten programming offered in the Calgary Board of Education.

The Calgary Public Library has also provided resources to support families with new Kindergarteners, including a short video, and Kindergarten book bags. Families can visit the Calgary Public Library​ website for more information.
