Woodlands School is excited to welcome Jaron Weaselbear from Piikani Nation on May 21 and May 30, who will guide students through the history and cultural relevance of Traditional Indigenous Games.

Thank you ATA Local 38 for the Special Initiative Funding and Woodlands School Council for the funds for Jaron’s, Chantal Chagon, and Awo Taan visits to Woodlands School.
As well as the weather improves, classes will visit Fish Creek Park in the Months of May and June for learning on the land which aligns with our TRC commitment.
